Nichola is an experienced Speech and Language therapist who has specialised in working with school aged students.

She completed her degree at Flinders University, South Australia in 1990. Since graduating she has worked in Australia, the United States, the Netherlands and now in England. During this time, she has worked in mainstream schools (nursery, primary and secondary settings), in special schools and in private practice.

Nichola has special interests in language disorders, stuttering and language based literacy difficulties. Nichola enjoys working in a collaborative environment to include parents, teachers, teacher assistants and other professionals in a child’s therapy program. She also has experience presenting on speech and language disorders and intervention strategies to schools, families and professional groups.

Nichola treats children with a speech and language difficulty including:
bullet Oral language delay or disorders
bullet Articulation/speech sound difficulties
bullet Language based literacy difficulties including development of sound awareness skills to help with reading and spelling.
bullet Stammering: Nichola is Lidcombe trained
bullet Tongue thrust and swallowing difficulties
