Gwendoline is a specialist paediatric Occupational Therapist with experience in special and mainstream schools. She also has experience with working at home to support children, young people, and their families to develop their independence skills and reach their goals and potential. She is fluent in both English and French.

What Gwendoline can help with

Gwendoline is very supportive and willing to help you to find the best efficient way to support your child to become more independent. She considers your needs and strengths and your own environment and values.

Gwendoline can assess and support you and your child in a various range of occupations:

  • toiletting

  • feeding

  • dressing

  • sleeping

  • handwriting

  • cutting with scissors

  • playing by himself and with others

  • participation at school

  • accessing to leisure

  • Going out (hairdresser, shopping, party).

  • Any other meaningful occupations for you and your child

Gwendoline is available for clinic appointments, home visits and visits to schools and nurseries.  


Gwendoline’s training includes:

  • Introduction to Floortime approach – DIR Floortime was created by Dr Stanley Greenspan to support autistic children or children with a delayed development. This approach is based on games, centred on the child and led by the child. This approach aims to give the child the necessary skills to progress at school and in everyday life and to improve autonomy.

  • Foundation Makaton course – Makaton is a language using signs and symbols in order to help the child communicating.

  • Cognitive Orientation of daily Occupational Performance – COOP is a client and performance centred approach, based on problem solving and allowing to learn new skills by using strategies and guided discovery.

  • OT Tools for Autism Spectrum Disorder – working with children & families.

  • Essential Skills for Contemporary Occupational Therapy Practice: Children and Young People

  • Knowledge about the Zones of regulation, PECS, Talking mats, TEACCH
