Hannah Strang (nee Simpson) – Speech and Language Therapist

Hannah is a fully trained Speech and Language Therapist, with a wealth of experience across a range of settings.  Hannah has been working as a Speech and Language Therapist in the NHS for the last 9 years in multiple settings, including mainstream schools, community clinics and hospitals. She is passionate about delivering an outstanding level of care, ensuring therapy is effective, engaging and creative.   

What can Hannah help with

  • Hannah is experienced in working with children with communication needs including language delay and disorder, speech sound difficulties, dysfluency and children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Down’s Syndrome and Selective Mutism.

  • She is able to provide assessment, detailed reports and both individual and group therapy sessions.

  • Hannah ensures her therapy is evidence based and tailored to meet the individual needs of every child, as well as providing effective, specific communication strategies and advice.

  • She values building a positive relationship with every child, and has experience of working closely with parents, school staff and other relevant professionals to help the child reach their full communication potential.

Hannah’s training includes:

  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)

  • Sign-along

  • Talking Mats

Hannah also has informal training in Lego Therapy, Shape Coding and Colourful Semantics.
